The problem

Nobody loses an afternoon at once.

You lose it five seconds at a time, all day. Shortcuts are supposed to fix this, but every app has its own set to memorize. So most of them never get used.

Use cases

Everything you reach for, one keytap away.

Apps, sites, snippets, buttons and menus, there the instant you want them. No hunting, no mouse, no detours.

Open an app

Land on Slack on the first try.

Not three rounds of ⌘Tab, squinting for the right icon.

Open a website

Open ChatGPT instantly.

No new tab, no typing, no picking the right suggestion.

Type a text

Stop typing your go-to prompts by hand.

It can even slot in your clipboard, the text you highlighted, or today's date.

Click something in an app

No need to reach for your mouse.

Clicks a named button or link, in an app or on a website.

Click a menu item

Format › Column › AutoFit Selection in Excel.

Make the shortcut the app itself never gave you.

Remap a key I already use

Put screenshot-to-clipboard on one key.

macOS makes you memorize ⌃⇧⌘4. Now it's a key you chose.

Try it yourselfSee it in action

How it works

From by-hand to one keystroke.

Every repetitive task is a choice: pay with your time, every time, or spend one minute turning it into a shortcut.

Before
0:12

The old way, every time

Select the text, up to the toolbar, open the palette, hunt for red… and again tomorrow, and the day after, forever.

Set it up once
one minute

Show it the steps, once

Highlight, press ⌥ /, type "text color red", hit enter. That's the whole setup.

Pro tip: ⌥ / opens Google Docs' menu search, and all kinds of shortcuts hide in there.

Ever after
0:02

One keystroke, forever

Hold your key, tap R, and it replays those steps itself, in two seconds. Or say it out loud when your hands are full. And it's on the Shortcut Keyboard from now on, so you never have to remember it.

A step can be:

The Super key

One held key. A whole Shortcut Keyboard.

Hold your Super key and your keyboard becomes your Shortcut Keyboard: every key fires something you chose. Let go and it types like normal. Nothing to memorize: hold and look. That's the whole product.

  1. 1Hold your Super keyone key you choose, like Caps Lock
  2. 2Your shortcuts appear on the keys
  3. 3Tap one. It runs.

Caps Lock, Right Option, Right Command, or Right Control: your pick. Behind the scenes it sends ⌃⌥⌘, a combo macOS leaves free and almost nothing else binds, so it doesn't collide with the shortcuts you already use. New to the Super key? →

What's inside

Knows your app. Hears your voice. Stays on your Mac.

⌃⌥⌘L→Copy PR link

Same key, 1 app so far. Tap the tabs.

Context-aware

One key means something different in each app and site. No collisions, nothing to memorize.

Listening…
Make Text Red

Hands-free voice

Hold to talk, release to run: it fires the same shortcuts you built. Transcribed on your Mac.

Wi-Fi
Offline, still running

Runs offline

No cloud round trip, no waiting on a server. It all runs on your Mac. No Wi-Fi, no problem.

Starter templates

Install one, run it, then make it yours.

Choose on screen Pro

Point-and-click automation that keeps working when layouts change.

Chain any step

Keys, clicks, text, opening apps, even Apple Shortcuts: all in one shortcut.

Works everywhere

If you can type in it, you can command it: editor, browser, inbox, chat.

Private by design. Your shortcuts and your voice are processed on your Mac: not synced, not ours to read. Your account holds your email, plan, and which Macs you use. Product analytics are opt-in, crash diagnostics are on by default with one switch to turn them off, and neither ever carries your shortcuts or your voice. It asks for the standard macOS automation permissions, explains each before you grant it, and you can revoke anytime. Everything the app sends →

Questions

Questions, answered.

Privacy, permissions, pricing, and how it stacks up. Still stuck? Read the docs →

Will it clash with shortcuts I already use?

No. That's the point of the Super key: everything you make fires on ⌃⌥⌘ plus a letter, a combo macOS leaves free. And each one is scoped to a context, so the same chord can mean different things in different apps (github.com and a Google Doc count as different) without colliding.

Is my data private? Does voice go to the cloud?

Every shortcut runs on your Mac, with no model in the loop. Voice is transcribed on-device and the audio is never sent anywhere. Every shortcut is a list of steps you can open, read, and edit, so there's no black box.

What macOS permissions does it need?

The standard automation permissions (Accessibility, and Automation for some actions) so it can drive your apps. We explain each one before you grant it, and you can revoke them anytime in System Settings.

How is it different from Raycast, Keyboard Maestro, or Apple Shortcuts?

Raycast and Alfred are launchers you summon; Super Shortcuts fires in place, scoped to where you are. Keyboard Maestro is a deep macro engine; this is the fast, memorable layer on top, with no macro mental model. Apple Shortcuts is broad but detached from your live context. It coexists happily if you already remap a key to ⌃⌥⌘ yourself.

Why not just ask an AI agent to do it?

AI agents are great for one-off, open-ended work. Super Shortcuts is for the things you do twenty times a day: it runs the exact steps you chose, the same way every time, in a couple of seconds. Offline, no tokens, no waiting, and no improvising with your data.

Do I have to build everything from scratch?

No. Install a ready-made shortcut from the starter library (Google Docs, GitHub, VS Code, Meetings, Global), run it, then make it yours.

How do I know it's actually saving me time?

The app keeps score. Every run is counted: Home shows time saved this week and your streak, and Insights ranks your top shortcuts. Your number, not our marketing.

Do I need an account, and what does it cost?

You sign in with email, Google, or Microsoft; the account holds your email, your plan, and a record of the Macs you sign in on. Your shortcuts stay on your Mac. The Privacy Policy lists everything the app sends. Free covers up to 20 shortcuts, with every action and a starter template library. Pro is $12/month or $100/year with a 7-day free trial (card required), and unlocks unlimited shortcuts, voice control, Choose on screen, and the full template library.

Is it a subscription?

Yes. Pro is $12/month or $100/year, plus tax where applicable. Cancel anytime and Pro stays on until the end of what you've paid for; your shortcuts keep running on the Free tier after that.

What if it's not for me?

Start with the 7-day free trial - cancel before it ends and you're not charged. After that, cancel anytime from Settings → Account and Pro runs until the end of the period you've paid for. Change your mind after paying and our money-back guarantee refunds your first charge within 14 days - no reason needed. Renewals aren't refundable, so cancel before one if you're done. The refund policy has the rest.

Do updates cost extra?

No. Updates are included while you're subscribed. The Free tier keeps getting bug fixes and macOS compatibility updates too, though new features may be Pro-only. Super Shortcuts checks for new versions and shows an Install Update button when one is ready.

What Mac do I need?

macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel. The download is about 16 MB.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. Super Shortcuts is a macOS app today. Join the Windows waitlist and we'll let you know when a Windows version is available.
