Sign in and go Pro

Super Shortcuts asks you to sign in the first time it opens. Your account is how Pro follows you between Macs and where you manage your subscription. It holds your email, your plan, and a record of each Mac you sign in on (a hashed hardware ID, the model name, and the app version), and nothing about your shortcuts. Everything you automate still runs on your Mac and stays there.

Free covers every action, Super key triggering, the Shortcut Keyboard, the starter template library, and up to 20 shortcuts. Pro lifts the cap to unlimited and adds voice control, Choose on screen, and the full template library. Pro is $12/month or $100/year (plus tax where applicable), with a 7-day free trial.

  1. Open Super Shortcuts. The sign-in screen appears; click Sign in.
  2. Your browser opens a page on supershortcuts.com. Pick a method:
    • Email - type your address and we send a 6-digit code. Type the code on the page, or open the link in the email on the same Mac.
    • Google or Microsoft - the usual account picker.
  3. The page hands you back to the app, and you’re in.

Signing in with a different method later (say, Google after email) attaches that method to the same account as long as the email matches. Nothing is stored in your browser afterwards.

If you bought a one-time license before September 2026, your purchase becomes lifetime access on your account. Sign in with the email you bought with and it attaches automatically. If you sign in with a different email, click Redeem your license key on the sign-in page first, paste the key from your receipt, then sign in with any method - the lifetime access follows.

Open Settings → Plans & Billing (any Pro feature takes you there too), pick monthly or annual, and click Start 7-day free trial. Your browser opens a Stripe checkout. A card is required, and nothing is charged for 7 days; cancel before the trial ends and it stays free. When checkout finishes, switch back to the app - it confirms your plan within a few seconds.

Receipts and invoices come from Link, Stripe’s payment service, so a “Sold through Link” line on a receipt is us. Your card statement shows a charge beginning LINK.COM*.

One trial per account. If you’ve trialed before, the button reads Subscribe and checkout starts the paid plan right away.

Settings → Account → Manage subscription opens the Stripe customer portal in your browser, where you can update your card, see invoices, or cancel.

  • Cancel keeps Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then the app returns to Free. Your shortcuts stay put; those beyond the cap keep their data but can’t run until you’re back under it or on Pro again.
  • Switching monthly and annual isn’t offered yet - cancel at period end and subscribe to the other plan.
  • A failed payment keeps Pro for 10 days while Stripe retries and the app shows a fix-payment prompt. After that it returns to Free until the payment goes through.

Delete your account in Settings → Account removes the account, its sign-in methods, and any active subscription. Your local shortcuts are not touched.

Pro keeps working offline for a while - the app checks in with the server when it can, and needs to succeed about every two weeks to stay current. Sign-in itself needs a connection.

What you see What to do
No code arrives Check spam, then click Send a new code on the page. Codes come from hello@mail.supershortcuts.com.
“That code didn’t match” Type the six digits from the newest email. Each code works once and expires after 10 minutes.
“This link has expired” Sign-in links work once, on the Mac you started from. Ask for a new code from the app.
“Confirm an email for your account” Microsoft didn’t share a verified email - a work account only shares one when your admin enables it. Enter an address and confirm it with a code.
“Too many codes requested” Wait an hour and try again.
“You’re offline” Reconnect and try again. Nothing was lost.
Checkout finished but the app still says Free Give it a few seconds; the app polls for the result. If it’s still Free after a minute, open Settings → Plans & Billing and click the refresh arrow next to the title.

Email support@supershortcuts.com from the address you signed in with and we’ll sort it out.
